di ... the buff bot
Di is still my main, so please understand that i occasionally go out and kill
things :)
 | Rules
 | Free Level 7 buffs to anyone in the monarchy (that is, anyone that
shows Acex as Monarch)
 | So far, donations have kept the bot running at a slight profit |
| Plats, pyreal scarabs and notes are the best donations if you got
'em |

| Issues
| The only major issue is that Di has gotten caught in bad loop if she's
pointing in a direction that causes her to summon portals into a wall or
other unsummonable direction
| Please help keep Di facing "out" -- you can stand at the
mansion portal drop, or if you climb onto the deck, please stand in
front of her: she will face you to cast buffs |
| There is a new 'turnto' feature that helps to position her when
she casts a portal, so that alleviates but doesn't always eliminate
the problem |

| Invisible?
| The is a bug that can cause characters that login inside a mansion
(or any house, for that matter) to be invisible to those outside the
house. So if you don't see her ... she might be there! |
| Please fell free to give her a /tell or command when you don't see
her there ... she'll answer if she's in bot-mode. If I'm out
hunting, I'll try to /reply with some sort of a "not a bot"
message if i'm not in mortal danger, but please forgive me if I am
sometimes a little terse or unresponsive. |

| Too many tells?
| As a spam prevention measure, there is a limit to how frequently a
character can /tell or /say anything. The 'mute' period can last for
a minute or more. During very busy periods of activity, the bot
sometimes comes across this limit, and appears to be unresponsive to
your command (when in fact your command are likely being received
and put into the buff queue, but you don't receive the
"queued" response message). |
| In times like this (likely with a crowd at the base of the manion
requesting buffs), please help to reduce the spoken traffic of the
bot. Most importantly, please don't issue a help command or repeat
your buff request. |
