derailed some decal functions that are corrected by upgrading to decal
release 2.0

i've changed the hook
text and/or hook color settings, but nothing has changed?

the hook text and hook color settings are NOT
effective until you press the Save and
Apply button: pressing this button will validate the input, save you
changes, and then immediately apply them ingame.
note that the enable check box IS effective immediately -- it
does not wait until the Save and Accept button is pressed. |

the hook text setting must begin with a slash and be at least one
character long. |

hooker doesn't accept my hook color input |
hooker only accepts color indices between 1 and 23. if anything else is
entered, hooker will revert back to the default of 3 (bright
yellow).
also, the detection of a "legal number" is pretty crude --
it's quite possible that trailing and/or leading characters (even possibly
zeros and/or spaces) will cause hooker's error checking mechanism to
detect an "illegal number" and revert back to the default. |
